Tammy joined the Paralegal program at Great Lakes Junior College (Davenport) before transferring to Mid Michigan Community College. She graduated in May 2000, earning an Associate in Business degree as a Legal Office Professional. During her schooling, she served as a work-study employee for the Undersheriff of Clare County in the Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement Program.
Prior to joining the firm, Tammy worked as a legal assistant to David J. Gilbert, Attorney at Law, for one year.

Tammy has served on the Mid Michigan Community College Advisory Board since 2003, which also allows her to serve the needs of students entering the job market.
